Wow gold has dropped considerably in value over time. Today an ounce is only $1200 and silver $11 approximately. But certain gold specimens are worth a lot more such as native spacers which I have one I found on eBay for $60 Australian.
great stuff, I got a job in mining and I have no clue of where to start, so this video helped a little, but I'd be so grateful if someone would be up to helping me know some more stuff, like cut-off grade and environnemental impact... Oh and I miss Robb too .. a lot.
+Ask Jeff Williams ....Does it worth the effort? I mean it seems you pay for expeditions more than you get from the gold.....I watched some of your videos by the way, you are a cool guy! fun to watch your videos.
I work in South Africa on one of the 4 deepest shafts in the world 3.5km below surface, I am responsible for the stability of the mine. The video was short and accurate to shallow mining.
Will love to see a video on Deep level gold.
Deep level gold is just next level, a 5.4mag seismic event was generated the due to mining and we get 1mag - 3mag events at least 1's a week.

DNEWS, I GOTS QUIESTIONS.
Do people with deviated septum's have a correspondence with nosebleeds or other upper respiratory related breathing issues? And what's the fact/truth in the Japanese pop culture (Manga's and anime's have it a lot, I would know) relationship between nosebleeds and sexual/perverse thoughts? Is there any real fact in those origins at all..? (I was thinking maybe it had to do with an increased heart rate/blood flow causing a burst vein in the brain or something, thus, a nosebleed..?)
I DON'T KNOW.
I know you glossed over "the trucks" use to haul the rock to be processed, but it's impressive. The trucks are six lanes wide and carry upwards of 200 (US) tons. I know all this because my brother writes software to analyze the performance of those huge tires for Bridgestone.
If you are a Canadian mega mining corporation in Guatemala you just dump the toxic sludge into the fresh water rivers, poisoning the rivers, entire lakes, and people. If any natives protest they just get killed, government and police are on the payroll... true story, still going on today.
Sold, he sold you the idea to see if you would buy it.
Rich people are amazing sells people! If we stop and think about it, the rich have sold the poor jobs where the poor does 99% of the job but gets a tiny percentage of the profit, yet the poor will swear that if he just work hard enough he one day will also be rich! so the system its fair they conclude.
Of course math is not a well know subject among the people...
I remember when i was about 7, i begged my parents to buy this 1oz gold investment coin, or some other stupid name like that, and it was $350....my parents said "its a rip off, gold is only about $275 an ounce".....now, where did i put my time machine
My father worked on many mines, including the deepest one in the world in South Africa,They would follow gold reefs which are long thin horizontal strands of fluvial gold from ancient rivers. Its cool to see how it works.
Please investigate the existence of dragons. Reasons: Every culture ever has som kind of dragon in different forms and legends of seamonsters. I mean you can even read about the leviathan in the bible.

uranium is the heaviest (atomic mass) found in nature....osmium and iridium are the densest (which would translate into human "heavy" as in weight/volume). Osmium is about 17% heavier than gold for the same size.
Huh. So that's what liquid gold looks like. Now the effects in The Desolation of Smaug seem even shittier in comparison. The gold in there looked like something the PS2 or Xbox would render. Remember the water from The Elder Scrolls (not Skyrim)? Yeah, that shitty...
