In this video we investigate the advantage that you gain by using Puppet Configuration Management. Taking a new install of Ubuntu we add the puppet agent and apply standard configuration from the Puppet 4 Server Additionally you can find my video courses on Pluralsight: http://pluralsight.com/training/Authors/Details/andrew-mallett and take time to see my own site http://www.theurbanpenguin.com

on puppet aget -t I get "Error: Could not request certificate: Connection refused - connect(2)" Could it be firewall? It's clean Ubuntu 15.10 install.

How is is configured. What system is is WebBrick, Jetty or Passenger. What dirt is it listening on. What firewall is in place. What hostname is used. The same host hardly explain the configuration

Thanks very much, Andrew. From this video, I presume that this is a way of "pulling" configurations from the puppet server. Does puppet also have a way of "pushing" configurations / applications to the clients in order to reduce admin effort for updating each and every PC on the network?
