Citrix XenApp 6.5 Lesson 7 Configuration Logging

26 ratings | 14860 views
More videos like this online at http://www.theurbanpenguin.com Configuration logging is a way of auditing changes to your XenApp farm. You will need a separate database for this. The user account you use to access the db will need db-owner rights to the configuration database and SELECT on the sys.users and sys.objects views in the master database. With this enabled then we can use the farm properties dialogue of the Farm node with AppCenter to set up configuration logging and the histor node to view the logs.

Hi Andrew, just a quick one. I created the config logging db and all working. However, is there a way of giving a security group permissions on the db so that other admins can view changes or do they have to be individually set up in the sql configuration db ? thanks

Hello Andrew, I have to say I watched many of your videos and I think you should be proud of your-self. I started studying IT 3 years ago. Soon I will become an IT Instructor. Your videos have been extremely helpful over the years. Thank you for your great work.
