In this latest thrashing of Ray Comfort, we examine about four minutes of his 30+ minute “documentary,” “Noah and the Last Days.” Combined with my other videos, “The Arrogance of Creationism (3)” and “Ray Comfort Thinks Eclipses are MAGIC!” this concludes my response to his pathetic excuse for a documentary. In this video, we examine the origins of Earth’s oceans and Ray’s interviewing techniques, as well as his thoroughness in reading basic science magazines. You don’t win a prize for guessing that there’s dishonest editing where the former is concerned, and quote-mining where the latter is concerned. I do my best to lay out a healthy dosage of pwnage and scientific education in my videos, and this perhaps best reflects the style of video that I strive to achieve. I don’t often say this, but I’m quite proud of this particular video. If you enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed making it, please like, favorite, and/or share on social media. Just as is the case with any proponent of Young Earth "science", Shockofgod only dare scratch the surface rather than delve to any great depth, just to make a cheap and innacurate point. A statement by Richard Dawkins is misinterpreted at 3 different levels. The statement was part of a debate between Dawkins and John Lennox in Oct 2008. It seems it took Shock 2.5 years to react. Dawkins' explanation of proceedings can be found in more detail in the following link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24vWUeMnXBg Thanks to Shockofshite for mirroring Shockofgod's videos in an uncensored environment.

Anti-racism is code for anti-mind Thanks to aurini and libertarianrealist for inspiration, whether they want it or not. The failure of democracy is palpable, and the closer a firm is to the democratic nexus, the more corrupt and malignant it is. The absurdity of humanism is so breathtakingly obvious, yet it is the bedrock of atheistkult. In their mania to be "objective" (impossible goal), they treat net human utility as the end-all be-all. How exactly does racial evolution undermine this belief? Well it makes multiracial democracies unviable. This was when the first fossils of multicellular life appeared abruptly, fully formed without any pre-history showing amazing proof that the creator 'planted' this life on earth. Atheists love talking science - this is not science but plain fact. God created the universe and everything in it in stages.

Hitler learns, to his dismay, that Christians deny he is Christian. They go so far as to actually claim he was an atheist despite his many writings and speeches that discuss his faith. Mar 11, 2014 UPDATE: 1) Since people seem to want to use fake or mined quotes from Hitler, here is a comprehensive list of religious quotations from Hitler with complete citations. http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler's_religious_views 2) As I pointed out in the video, these critics miss the point. Even IF Hitler was an agnostic, atheist, Muslim, or Nordic gods worshiper or whatever Christians want to claim he was, the POINT of the video is that he used Christianity to convince millions of Christians to commit the most horrible genocide in the history of the world. there is a REASON they Nazis had "Got With Us" printed in their belt buckles, whether Hitler believed (he did) or not: everyone else around him DID believe. As someone smarter than I once observed, "Good men will do good things and bad men will do bad things. But for a good man to do a horrible thing? That takes religion." 3) It is only the most horrible in the history of the world because a) the religious people of the middle ages and biblical times did not have tanks, machine guns, and nuclear weapons; and b) now that we have those things, science has convinced us (hopefully) to do away with our childish death-wish mythologies. I am using the Downfall clip under the Fair Use laws of the United States.

Evolution Hour 63: In the continuing sage of creationist CONTESTED BONES book suppressing contrary evidence in their quote mining, we touch on the australopithecine Lucy's knee joint, where they selectively cite Don Johanson's 1989 letter http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/knee-joint/johanson1.html, part of Jim Lippard's analysis of how creationists mangle the facts http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/knee-joint.html (which Rupe did not cite). They also authority quote Stern & Susman's 1983 article again https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/ajpa.1330600302 Owen Lovejoy 2005 got quoted to, https://www.researchgate.net/publication/51367381_The_natural_history_of_human_gait_and_posture_Part_1_Spine_and_pelvis (see page 106) for the full quote they nicked just the start of. Part 2 of the show is on internet creationist Isaiah Bucu lobbing a pro-Flood video at critics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd5-dHxOQhg&feature=youtu.be This turns out to be channeling the views of Tim Clarey, here's his stuff you can follow up on: Tim Clarey 2015 “Grappling with Megasequences.” Institute for Creation Research Acts & Facts http://www.icr.org/article/grappling-with-megasequences/ which relied on http://www.icr.org/article/dinosaur-fossils-late-flood-rocks/ mangling a 1988 John Horner dinosaur book on 10,000 fossil Maisaurs. Evolution Hour 85: The creationist CONTESTED BONES book concludes its chapter on A. sediba with a misfired swipe at the geology and taphonomy of the deposits. Rupe quote mined one negative comment from Wade 2011 summary https://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/09/science/09fossils.html The main technical work they cited were: Dirks 2010 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/43080137_Geological_Setting_and_Age_of_Australopithecus_sediba_from_Southern_Africa And Val 2013 https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0126904 They also nicked a critical line from Shreeve 2015 on naledi (which is their next chapter) https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015/09/150910-human-evolution-change/ Part II of the show are some lose ends that have been thrown at me online, more instances of how bad Source Methods bite. The "Delk" human/dino tracks, Glen Kuban 2013 notes the clues of fakery http://paleo.cc/paluxy/delk.htm YECer Ian Juby 2015 was still keen on them though https://ianjuby.org/examining-the-delk-track/ But YECer Tas Walker 2019 is definitely doubtful https://creation.com/alvis-delk-footprint-artefact And then there's the “Wasserburger” quote lobbed at me by a Twitter creationist, where a geologist supposedly admitted to how "wrong" radiometric dates are tossed. No source was given, but the only place I’ve found it is in Ralph Matthews’ 1982 https://creation.com/radiometric-dating-age-of-earth and the "Science" source he offered doesn't appear to exist anywhere traceable. There is a geologist Wasserburg, and I suspect some scholarly incompetence at work in Matthews' article, which had lots of secondary sources and overstatement, such as his selective quotation from Bath 1974 https://www.researchgate.net/publication/240674406_New_isotopic_age_data_on_rocks_from_the_Long_Mynd_Shropshire Another example, Hayatsu 1979 (whose name Matthews misspelled as “Hayalsu”) was not available full text, but a 2003 follow-up supplied considerable context https://www.researchgate.net/publication/277061903_40Ar39Ar_age_of_the_Jurassic_North_Mountain_Basalt_southwestern_Nova_Scotia The moral of the story (as usual) don't take people's word for thing, check up on it (and do that with me too). I'm up to a lot in the campaign to undermine antievolutionism on a broad front. I’ve written THE coverage of how antievolutionists ignore the reptile-mammal transition macroevolution evidence https://www.amazon.com/dp/1540736296/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1481509663&sr=8-2&keywords=Evolution+slam+dunk which paleontologist Christine Janis described in her Amazon review as “an incredible tour de force”. Please get ESD if you haven't already, & current readers be sure to rate/review it and spread the word on the book. I applied Source Methods head on in my debate with Kent Hovind last September, and you can judge for yourself which of us came out in one piece https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1JRnnOl27Y Everyone viewing my work can join the methods campaign by using the tools and approaches being assembled at my TIP “Troubles in Paradise: The Methodology of Creationism” www.tortucan.wordpress.com - a work in progress, which you can support directly at www.GoFundMe.com/dseego and/or become a Patron for “Evolution Hour” and the project in general at https://www.patreon.com/DownardTIP

In the early 1990s, Robert W. Felix signed up for studies at the University of Washington. He spent the next eight years, full-time, researching and writing about the coming ice age. From RationalWiki: Ice Age Now Felix believes the reversal of the Earth's magnetic poles is imminent and that their reversal causes environmental cataclysms which lead into ice ages. One of his two websites is Ice Age Now, which is where he peddles this facet of his theory of everything. Ice Age Now is mostly dedicated to global warming denial, survivalism (better stock up on dry goods and fuel), conspiracy theories (he believes the government is covering up evidence of the coming ice age), and abiotic oil crankery. The sidebar is a long laundry list of denialist PRATTs, which makes it like Skeptical Science without the rebuttals. The "news" section seems to exist mostly to document any time at which a snowflake falls anywhere in the world (proof of the coming ice age!) and parrot whatever the latest denialist idiocy is, usually something from Piers Corbyn or Tim Ball. He also hawks his thoroughly "researched" books here. George Monbiot specifically debunked one of his claims, that 555 of 625 of the Earth's mountain glaciers are advancing.[ Felix is not affiliated with any university, scientific establishment, or corporation, and therein lies his strength. Untainted by institutional bias or conventional wisdom this architect turned author brings fresh insight to the study of the ice ages. Evolutionary Leaps Evolutionary Leaps is Felix's other site where he pushes a deranged (but somewhat original, at least) pseudoscientific version of evolution. He basically takes Stephen Jay Gould's ideas about punctuated equilibrium and shoehorns his Earth changes crankery into it. According to Felix, the pole shifts that cause ice ages are responsible for mass extinctions with one element of these events being fiery carbon nanodiamonds raining from the skies. That's where the abiotic oil crankery plays into his grand "theory." WorldNutDaily columnist Jerome Corsi occasionally makes guest posts on the subject. Felix claims evolution is driven by cosmic rays and other radiation in addition to these pole shifts. To do this, he draws on a number of old crank tomes (mostly Immanuel Velikovsky and some creationists) and fabricated "facts" and mixes it with generously cherry-picked and quote mined research done by actual evolutionary biologists, paleontologists, and archaeologists.

This DVD is available here: http://bit.ly/177ezEO Dinosaurs, according to popular science, have been extinct for some 65 million years. But the Bible describes a creature, Leviathan, that sounds an awful lot like a dinosaur; one that lived contemporaneously with man. And then there are all the "legends" of dragons and other dinosaur-like creatures that pop up in the history of cultures all over the world. Does the evidence concerning these fascinating creatures support the evolutionary, old-earth model...or does it point to the young-earth creationist position? You won't hear this in your public school textbooks, but the discovery of unfossilized dinosaur bones suggests that dinosaurs died out relatively recently. Fossil graveyards, petrified forests, and the rapid formation of coal all speak to the Genesis Flood and other post-flood catastrophes. This video documentary, recorded on location in several fascinating parts of the world, explores this important subject. Featuring interviews with scientists on both sides of this issue, the viewer is taken on an exciting journey into the mysterious world of the "terrible lizards." Does the fossil evidence reveal gradual evolution...or did Leviathan leave his footprints on the sands of time relatively recently? This film is perfect for the classroom, whether at home or away, and features three of the most distinguished scientists in the arena of young-earth creationism: Dr. Steven Austin; Geologist, Institute for Creation Research Dr. Andrew Snelling; Geologist, Creation Science Foundation, Brisbane, Australia Dr. Gary Parker, Answers in Genesis

I spent around an hour and a half getting the materials for this video. Watching and recording the automated system at least twice to make sure I recorded as many of the lies this disgraceful place puts out. I believe that this is the most complete documentation of this creationist facility available. The display text was backlit I have done my best to make it readable here but you may need to pause to do so. Please use this resource to inform others. Use it to educate and for political activism. Send the link to your MP or political representative. Make them understand that these organizations exist to promote a dogmatic agenda and you expect positive action to protect the public from this propaganda and its demonstrable misinformation. Some sections of audio are at various volumes or have other sounds in the background. This is due to the set up at the Genesis Expo and I have done all I can to make the audio clear. In some sections I have included subtitles for clarity.

Strap yourselves in for a roller coaster ride of fallacies from those zany guys at Answers In Genesis, that Christian comedy group that seems to have no problem misrepresenting evidence or dishonestly quote mining someone to make it appear that they mean the opposite of what they actually communicate. These guys are solid biblical literalists (except for the bearing false witness part, that must be allegory) Video courtesy of majorvoltage http://www.youtube.com/user/majorvoltage

GENIUS is a chilling movie based on the life and tragic murder of John Lennon. It's chilling because it reveals what people will do for money. There are ordinary people out there who would kill you. All they need is the right amount of money and the belief that they won't get caught. Just before he was murdered, John Lennon told Playboy magazine that he didn't want to die at 40. Ironically the famous singer was gunned down at the age of 40 by a man who killed him just because he wanted to become famous. Many think that John Lennon was a musical genius. His music has crossed cultures and even generations--the Beatles have sold more than 2,303,500,000 record albums, and in June of 2012 they hit number one on iTunes. They are as big now as they ever were and they're half dead--with the tragic loss of Lennon and Harrison. COMMENDATIONS: "Genius is a fast-paced, thought-provoking and compelling video, with fascinating content. To some it will be startling, to others refreshing, to all it will be eye-opening. I highly recommend watching Genius." --Randy Alcorn "Genius is classic Comfort. Discomforting for the sake of the eternal comfort of sinners. Even those -- especially those -- who have built their house of hope on the sand of self-confidence and untransforming faith. I hope millions watch it and trust Christ as our only hope." --John Piper "Genius is first of all eye-opening: It's carefully researched and adds to the historical record something few have talked about. Secondly, it's compelling: You can see the sense of conviction and understanding in the faces of those being interviewed on camera. Third, it's equipping: Any believer who is interested in sharing his/her faith will find this a gold-mine of inspiration and encouragement." --Skip Heitzig Like Us? https://www.facebook.com/TheGeniusMovie/ Follow Us: http://twitter.com/GeniusTheMovie Genius Merchandise: http://www.LivingWaters.com/Genius

The Answers in Genesis website published the article on December 16, 2017. I now quote the article below: “Explore the 12 Arguments Evolutionists Should Avoid series to prepare yourself with answers to common yet faulty assertions by evolutionists. “The irony, of course, is that for centuries prior to Darwin’s publication of On the Origin of Species, the majority of scientists found the opposite to be true: the “evidence” supported creation. What changed? Not the evidence. Rather, the starting point changed (i.e., moving from the Bible, God’s Word, to humanism, man’s word). Creationists continue to see everything in light of God’s Word and all evidence as supporting the biblical account. In reality, there is no “neutral” starting point; everyone—whether they acknowledge it or not—interprets the “facts” according to a particular way of thinking (i.e., worldview).1 “Creationists could respond to this argument with their own “overwhelming evidence” in support of creation, such as this impressive list. However, creationists must beware of building their case on the basis of evidence alone. The common assertion, “The evidence speaks for itself,” is a logical fallacy of reification. A fossil dinosaur won’t speak up and tell its age. So unless God allows the rocks to cry out (Luke 19:40), no one can claim that the evidence argued and won the case. It isn’t about the amount of evidence each side can dig up in its favor. Since both sides interpret the evidence according to their opposing worldviews, the debate centers on which side correctly interprets the evidence. A worldview is how a person views the world based on his presuppositions (starting beliefs), which in turn affect the way he behaves. Two of the major worldviews today are the biblical worldview and secular humanism. Dictionary.com defines humanism as “any system or mode of thought or action in which human interests, values, and dignity predominate.” This sounds noble, but secular humanism excludes God and His Word. Instead, secular humanists rely on man’s reasoning alone with beliefs such as naturalism, evolution, relative truth, and cultural or individual morality. Voddie Baucham contrasts secular humanism and the biblical worldview through five different elements:2 “According to Baucham, Secular Humanism (and its component, Naturalistic Materialism) is based on the assumption that matter is all there is, and therefore all knowledge is derived from the study of the universe through reason and the scientific method. Christian Theism, on the other hand, holds that God created the world and everything in it; therefore, our pursuit of knowledge must balance reason and revelation.3 “A secular humanist may paint himself as neutral and challenge the creationist to leave the Bible out of a discussion of the evidence. But there is no neutral ground. Secular humanism is a worldview based on man’s opinion, whereas the biblical worldview is based on the infallible Word of God. So if an evolutionist claims “religion” is clouding the creationist’s view, the creationist must show how secular humanism blinds the evolutionist to the truth (Ephesians 4:18). “First of all, the secular humanist has no basis to argue his case because reasoning would be meaningless and futile in a naturalistic world without abstract laws, like the laws of logic. Second, absolute moral standards against wrongs like stealing or murder don’t apply in a world of the survival of the fittest. Third, the practice of science presupposes that the universe is orderly and predictable, following the laws of nature, which cannot be explained in a random chance universe made up only of the material. “Therefore, in order to reason, expect absolute moral standards, and practice science, secular humanists must stand on biblical ground. AiG calls this the ultimate proof of creation. The laws of logic, absolute morality, and uniformity of nature stem from the immutable Creator who upholds the universe through orderly physical laws and created man with a conscience and intellectual capacity (i.e., in His image).

The Young Age of the Earth (English) (You can translate the captions into your own language) The Young Age of the Earth is a short documentary which explains how a created, young Earth, is compatible with a myriad of field evidences and the Genesis record of creation in six literal days. Dr. Robert V. Gentry and his son, David present young earth evidences supporting rapid coal formation such as polonium halos in coalified wood and the astonishingly pure giant coal beds of the Powder River Basin. These coal beds, sometimes hundreds of feet thick, are better explained by a rapid deposition and burial of billions of tons of vegetation by a massive flood mechanism. Present day oil formation in the Guaymas Basin is seen using deep sea footage from the deep-ocean research submersible called Alvin (DSV-2). Aerial and ground based footage of the Grand Canyon illustrate features which question whether the Colorado River carved the canyon over millions of years. Dr. Walt Brown discusses his Hydroplate Theory which is consistent with the biblical flood model. Scenes from the visitor center at Dinosaur National Monument are explained in a startling new way. An explanation of cavitation includes footage from the Glen Canyon Dam where the power of catastrophically driven water is demonstrated in the spillway tunnels at the dam. Exodus 20;11 (KJV) For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Fossil Butte National Monument is also visited where inconsistencies between accepted theory and fossil evidence abound. The mass burial and deposition of millions of fish demands a theory of catastrophism similar to that required in the Grand Canyon. Dinosaur tracks in the coal mines of Eastern Utah near Price are documented and related to the age of the coal which they are found in. The published evidence from the deep drill holes in New Mexico show helium retention which is impossible to explain except by a young Earth paradigm. A synopsis of the polonium halos evidence for a rapid crystallization of granite is given explaining the difficulties they pose to the view of an anciently evolving planet from a hot melt. I was inspired by a video I saw where a rap video was made in response to creationists. Seeing how I was desparate to try out my new video editing software, I figured this would be a great way to start. I wrote this poem in about 10 mins, I wanted to make it longer but my temptation to complete a video was overpowering. Here's the link to my inspiration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS2Y3UVSQmg Here's the link to the original video containing the music I used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfLNehOuCVI
