http://ruffchain.com/ Telegram: https://t.me/RuffChain Twitter: https://twitter.com/Ruff_Chain Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RuffChainProject/ Ruff Chain combines the Internet of Things technology with the blockchain. It contains a distributed operating system and an open main chain, connecting peer to peer network and consensus mechanism from the virtual world to reality. Traditional blockchain forgo Availability over Consistency and Partition Tolerance, however Ruff enabled Availability through the combination of Edge Computing and blockchain, making Availability available, and thus meeting the requirements of elastic real-time requirements. Our goal is to solve the problem of trusted operations and onerous operations between IoT systems in different domains, thus creating an open Ruff Chain Ecosystem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to my channel and leave a comment below with your bitcoin address. BigchainDB and IoT in the case of digital twins - towards a data-driven economy (Simon Schwerin, BigchainDB) ———————————————— Check https://www.ethereumcamp.io for more information and next camps! NEXT CAMPS: # March 2018, Berlin/Germany, IoT # August 2018, Munich/Germany, Robotics 5-day hackathon # 100 participants # real hard- and software prototypes “We empower blockchain enthusiasts to transform their ideas into first prototypes by providing a best-in-class network and learning environment.” Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ethereumcamp/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ethereumcamp Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ethereumcamp/ Website: https://www.ethereumcamp.io Aftermovie: https://www.vimeo.com/251457554 ———————————————— About the “Ethereum Camp”: This presentation was held at the “IoT // Ethereum Summer Camp 2017” in Frankfurt, Germany. How can we build the IoT world of tomorrow? Blockchain was connected to real IoT products during a 5-day hackathon running from August 28, 2017 to September 1, 2017. More information: https://www.ethereumcamp.io - we seek to organize the next Ethereum camp in march 2018. Contact us ([email protected]) in case you want to know more. 14 teams consisting of IT developers and business developers developed prototypes focusing on connecting Ethereum and IOTA to real IoT products. From a conceptual perspective, it is similar to a hackathon and a summer school running over one week. We provided Raspberry Pi and HiKey hardware sets, sensors, actors, physical products and tought participants coding and how to program them. Organized in interdisciplinary teams (2-3 IT developers, 1-2 business developer), more than 80 participants created functional IoT prototypes. The teams developed Ethereum smart contracts, set up IOTA payments, connected real products to it and coded a frontend. Participants learned how to connect Ethereum and IOTA to real IoT products. From a business model perspective, this can yielded fascinating possibilities. Experts, lawyers and scholars — e.g. from well-known IOTA, ConsenSys, Daimler, Commerzbank, Eciotify or an international law firm — held sessions to touch various facets of the intersection of IoT and blockchain. Besides these companies, the summer camp is supported by DLT Capital, Ventum, Tatcraft, Blockchain Education Network and Informatik Aktuell. The Ethereum Camp is organized by Philipp Sandner (Frankfurt School Blockchain Center), Daniel Grassinger (nexussquared), Andranik Tumasjan (Technische Universität München) and 21 Digital (Daniel Hofinger, Lennart Wittstock, Jonas Beisswenger). HOW TO CONNECT AN IOT DEVICE TO A BLOCKCHAIN - (MULTICHAIN)

08:15
Hello, this is the simulation of how an IOT device (in our case an arduino) can communicate / save data inside a private blockchain. All the data obtained from the arduino have been translated in hexadecimal format through a local converter, developed in Java, to be then interpreted by the blockchain, in particular to be sent to the master node. To create the converter, we first import the java.awt.event.ActionEvent and java.awt.event.ActionListener libraries; after which we create two "panel objects", where in the first one the user will insert the string to be converted, and in the second one the output will be printed in hexadecimal format, connected to the "convert" button. In our Multichain we will have a master node and a small group of peer nodes, with connect, send and receive permissions, but this model can be extended to a limited group of master nodes and a larger number of peer nodes. To create a new Multichain blockchain, first let's download the Multichain executable locally, then open it from the terminal and write: multichain-util create [name blockchain] and so we create the blockchain; MultiChain allows the user at this point to set the parameters on the configuration file, and then initialize the blockchain: multichaind [blockchain name] -daemon The user who created the blockchain automatically becomes a network administrator, thus possessing all the privileges; MultiChain provides eight different types of permits, these are: connect, to give access to the network to other nodes, send, to send funds, that is to sign transactions in input, receive, in order to receive funds, issue, to issue activities, that is to sign in transactions that create new native resources, create, to create flows, ie to sign in transactions that create new flows, mine, to create blocks, that is to sign the transaction metadata, activate, to change connect, send and receive permissions for other users, admin, to add or revoke all permissions to other users, including issue, mine, activate and admin. Permissions can also be made temporary by limiting them to a specific range of block numbers. The administrator can at this point grant the other nodes the privileges, through the command: multichain-cli [blockchain name] grant [nodeWallett address] connect, send, receive while the nodes that have obtained the benefits, will be able to connect to the blockchain through the command: multichaind [blockchain name] @ [ip-address]: [port] and each of them can now initialize the chain. In order to make a transaction, the administrator must first create a stream, which we can imagine as a storage space where the metadata will be saved; in our case we will start, end date, rental duration create stream [stream name] false where false indicates that the publication can be made only by those who have write permission, which the administrator can grant through the command: grant [node address] .write Now both the master node and the one who wants to send the data, in order to have access to the contents of the stream, and to be able to publish it inside, will execute the command: subscribe [stream name] subsequently the nodes will be able to read the contents. liststreamitems [stream name] Now the administrator will create an asset, in which the overall gain of all nodes will be saved issue [own address wallet] [asset name] [quantity] [minimum unit] once the asset has been created, the administrator distributes the asset among all the participant nodes in equal parts, so as to finance their wallets and reset their own variable, it must subsequently be added to the amounts entered, this is done by the command :              sendasset [recipient node wallet address] [asset name] [quantity to send] to be able to check the operations that have happened, just do: gettotabalances At this point the secondary nodes can send their budgets through the command: [Linux] sendwithdata [recipient wallet address] '{"[asset name]": quantity}' '{"for": "[stream name]", "key": "[short description]", "data": "[converted string HEX] "} ' [Windows] sendwithdata [recipient wallet address] "{\" [asset name] "\": quantity} "" {\ "for \": \ "[stream name] \", \ "key \": \ "[short description] "\", \ "data \": \ "[HEX converted string]" \ "}" This operation will return a transaction id, which, once inserted in the command: getwallettransaction [transaction id] will output all the information related to the reference transaction. BIC19 Introduction - Blockchain Innovation Conference 2019

03:01
The 6th edition of the largest Blockchain conference in the Benelux. Contact: [email protected] My name is Vincent Everts, trendwatcher and founder of the Blockchain Innovation Conference. In 2014 I got totally inspired by the the use of blockchain solutions in all different industries. Together with Rutger van Zuidam I started the yearly Blockchain innovation conference or BIC with the goal to drive meaningful insights and change inside specially large existing organizations which are the backbone of our society and really need to innovate In June 2019 we will organize the 6th event bic19.nl over 2 days. 500 national and international pioneers from start-ups, scale-ups, public, academia & private sector will dig deeper in practical changes which Blockchain technology is bringing. We will dig deep into the world of finance, energy, logistics, healthcare, government, identity, security and beyond. My aim has always been to to design the Blockchain Innovation Conference so that we combine high-level overviews with tangible practical case studies and with a lot of interaction of the participants come to a vision and practical steps on the future of our industries. 10 years ago the bitcoin paper started this technology and, as often happens, groundbreaking change takes a while to come to fruition. We have just passed the first threshold and are still in a phase where the internet was before the browser. Our first editions of the BIC focused on possible use-cases and proof of concepts. The 2018 edition focused on production blockchains solutions which are currently created. During BIC 2019 will go one step beyond, we are going to explore how these production blockchain initiatives are working.. Do they make processes smarter? More effective? Which industries are chancing? How are they combined with tech like big data, Artifical intelligence and Internet of things? After 6 events I am getting impatient for real change! We are currently inviting speakers from all around the world. They will be the best like our previous editions Gavin Wood (Co-founder Ethereum), Prince Constantijn van Orange of Startup Delta, Rabobank CEO Wiebe Draijer, EU Commissioner Neelie Kroes, thinker and entrepreneur Vinay Gupta, MEP Cora van Nieuwenhuizen, Analyst David Birch, crypto enterpreneur Marc van der Chijs, KPN and former minister of finance Jan Kees de Jager, Everledger founder Leanne Kemp, Aalekh Sharan, of the Indian government, Rachel Halsema from the Worldbank and many many more., Of course we work closely together with passionate partners which have included Rabobank, ING, KPMG, ABN, IBM, HPE KPN, Enexis, Bitfury etc. Do you want to participate as a partner, volunteer or visitor? Let me know! Do you have an application which has been applied? ,Results from tangable projects that our community should know about? Inspire me, and I might interview you on video or invite you on stage! See you in June!

Bitcoin Vs Blockchain | Difference Between Bitcoin and Blockchain

03:35
Bitcoin Vs Blockchain | Difference Between Bitcoin and Blockchain https://acadgild.com/crypto/blockchain-training-certification?aff_id=6003&source=youtube&account=rNSvPn9r4hQ&campaign=youtube_channel&utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=bitcoin-vs-blockchain&utm_campaign=youtube_channel Welcome to Acadgild. In this video, we explain the difference between Bitcoin and Blockchain. The two terms are often interchangeably used because they’re closely related, but they refer to two distinct things. Bitcoin was the first ever application on blockchain. Perhaps, that is why so many people equate it with the technology – blockchain – that powers it. Nonetheless, it is only one of the cryptocurrencies that blockchain powers. There are others like Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, etc., which are also popular. Even the term bitcoin has more than one meaning. Bitcoin - starting with a small ‘b’ - refers to bitcoin the token or the digital currency. Whereas, Bitcoin - starting with a capital ‘B’ - refers to the blockchain network that maintains the public ledger for the cryptocurrency bitcoin – with the small ‘b’. Bitcoin is an unregulated digital currency system that allows you to transfer assets across the globe using blockchain technology. In other words, it is a decentralized electronic payment system. The technology was invented by the enigmatic Satoshi Nakamoto, whose identity has remained a secret since the technology’s invention in 2008. Bitcoin is a highly secure, peer-to-peer network that uses a distributed ledger management system that is both transparent and secure. It was invented with the vision to eliminate third-party intermediaries like governments and brokers from online transactions to create a system of economy and trade, which is undoubtedly one for the future. Bitcoin is legitimate and immutable. It tackles issues of currency manipulation and loose banking systems and can even be exchanged for real money. It is no wonder that the currency’s price has sky-rocketed in recent times. Especially, since it borrows features from blockchain. Blockchain is often likened to the internet of the 90s due to its revolutionary entry into the digital world. It is an incorruptible system for recording transactions that is open, verifiable, and yet, secure. It is used to trade cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and for other purposes like maintaining voting records or medical data. Blockchain is secure because it does not record transactions at one central point, which can be easily hacked. It uses a distributed system for verification that checks itself at regular intervals to maintain consensus on records. It is described as the ‘internet of value’ because it eliminates all intermediaries in transactions and is used for purposes like – exchanging assets online through smart contracts, making peer-to-peer payments in sharing economy, crowdsourcing venture capital funds from a peer-to-peer economy, making regulations transparent in governance, and for verifying the history of things in supply chain auditing. Blockchain is durable, robust, transparent and incorruptible. It is a revolutionary technology that promises to transform our digital future. Maersk Uses The First Blockchain-Based Platform For Maritime Insurance

01:31
Maersk Uses The First Blockchain-Based Platform For Maritime Insurance Subscribe: http://bit.ly/CryptoCoinNewsYT Shipping behemoth Maersk has tied in with Ernst & Young and Microsoft to launch and use the world’s first blockchain platform for marine insurance. The platform has been built on the Microsoft Azure cloud that uses ACORD standards and is a first in the global marine insurance industry. It connects brokers, clients, third parties, and insurers by way of a common ledger. Moreover, this database collects shipment and logistics risks information and integrates this data with the appropriate insurance contracts. Big money Even though the global shipping sector pays around a whopping $30 billion by way of premiums for marine insurance, it has by and large scattered, somewhat inefficient, frictional, and tedious, which has only widened the gap between capital and risk. This platform has been created to address and tackle challenges including higher transaction volumes and reconciliations and long paper chains. The blockchain security, transparency, and standardization are all too evident in this platform, which is now ready to be used commercially. Daily Crypto Morning Update - Coinbase Top 50, PWC, Oasis Blockchain, Ethereum Property - BTC $6600

03:00
COINFEED HEADLINES OF THE DAY https://coinfeed.com Coinbase Top 50 This piece of news was first discovered by a member on Coinfeed. It seems Coinbase has been listing pricing data for the Top 50 assets chosen by its network value. XRP holders may hope for a listing since its pricing data and logo is indeed shown on Coinbase’s app and website. Naysayers will argue however that prices are only there for educational purposes and that Coinbase’s digital asset framework still requires assets to be decentralized. https://medium.com/@coinfeed/coinbase-experiments-with-top-50-assets-including-xrp-nano-and-holo-469bdb64d647 PWC Enters Stable Coin Races The newest entry into the stable coin game is PWC. Is this a stable coin bubble? I guess we’ll find out. https://coinfeed.com/share/2160165/64/24543/jxnzvw/pwc-is-backing-a-usd-stablecoin-cryptocurrency-in-challenge-to-tether Oasis Startup Hub Investors from a16z Crypto, Binance Labs, Pantera Capital, and Polychain Capital have invested into the Oasis Startup Hub, a venture created by Oasis Labs to further their privacy-first computing blockchain. Viable startups include projects that require strong privacy considerations such as a decentralized credit scoring system. https://coinfeed.com/share/2159701/64/24543/jxnzvw/oasis-labs-launches-program-to-accelerate-privacy-first-computing-on-blockchain Darwin’s Ether A major precedent has been made with the Supreme Court in British Columbia ruling that the 530 Ethereum tokens mistakenly sent to an ICO investor must be given back. The court case establishes the Ethereum tokens as property. What’s bizarre in this case however, is that the ICO investor Brian Wall originally refused to give the ETH tokens back. He later said he will comply but then claimed a hacker stole them. And then Brian died. https://coinfeed.com/share/2165225/64/24543/jxnzvw/court-authorizes-cryptocurrency-firm-to-reclaim-530-eth-sent-to-wrong-address Oh Hai, I'm Coinfeed TV.
