How to start mining Vertcoin with AMD cards on Linux

06:56
We want to thank IoneSilentWolf for creating this video that shows how you can mine Vertcoin using AMD GPUs, on Linux. In the video ubuntu 16.04 LTS is used along with amdgpu 18.20 drivers.ROCM isn't used since it only supports polaris, vega cards atm. Generating legacy wallet address using Vertcoin core wallet 1. Download the wallet for Linux from vertcoin.org 2. Once downloaded extract the wallet executable and copy it to a location of your choice. 3. Open a terminal in the directory of the wallet binary. (right click in file explorer in the directory where terminal should start in and select "open in terminal" or open terminal and change directory to extracted folder) 4. Type "./vertcoin-qt" and press enter. This will start the wallet. 5. Choose where you want to save the wallet files. 6. Once wallet starts press ctrl + shift + D together to open debug window. In debug window then click on console tab. Once at console tab type the command "getnewaddress address_ type legacy". This will generate a legacy wallet addres for you. 7. Copy it and let the node sync in background it won't affect you UBUNTU 16.04 LTS : http://releases.ubuntu.com/16.04/ AMD GPU PRO 18.20 : https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-arti... Installing AMD GPU drivers 1. Download the driver. 2. Once downloadeded extract the files. 3. Open a terminal in the folder. (right click in file explorer in the directory where terminal should start in and select "open in terminal" or open terminal and change directory to extracted folder) 4. In terminal type "./amdgpu-install --headless --opencl-legacy,pal". HEADLESS is the important since it will only lead to install opencl components required by the miner and won't cause system crashes. 5. Restart the OS, for testing if it's working correctly. If you face login loop error press ctrl+alt+f3 and type command "amdgpu-uninstall". This will uninstall the drivers and should fix the login loop. But miner won't compile, and whether it'll run, I doubt it but do test it by only installing Lyclminer GitHub repository : https://github.com/CryptoGraphics/lyc... Premake 5 : https://premake.github.io/download.html Compiling the code 1. First download the dependencies required to compile the miner, by running the command "sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev libjansson-dev opencl-headers" in a terminal. 2. Download the source code of the miner by clicking on clone or download button and downloading zip. 3. Download pre make 5 for linux. 4. Once downloaded extract source code, and pre make 5. 5. Copy pre make 5 to the directory containing pre make 5 dot lua, in this case its the folder containing the source code. 6. Ope terminal in the directory containing premake5.lua 7. In terminal type command "./premake5 gmake" this will create a build folder. 8. Change directory to build folder and enter command "make". 9. It will show a warning, while compiling the code. Ignore that it won't affect the miner. If everything is okay till now, no error will be shown and a bin folder will be created in the previous directory. 10. This folder will contain the binary to run the miner. Now copy the kernel folder in the parent directory to bin folder. Running the miner 1. Open terminal in bin folder and type command "./lyclMiner -g lyclMiner.conf" to create a config file. 2. Once the config file is created open it in any text editor, in ubuntu you can use hesitate in GUI or vim in CUI and add the pool details under "Pool connection setup" section. 3. Once config file is update, type "./lyclMiner" Optimising miner 1. Open lyclminer.conf. 2. Begin by changing the worksize. Increase it in multiple of 0.5, to find a stable worksize. 4. Once you get a stable worksize, then increase your core clock speeds. Memory clock is not that important 5. Find the most stable settings. 6. You can exclude a card from mining. Read Readme.md file of the miner for details Twitter: https://twitter.com/Vertcoin Donations: https://vertcoin.org/donate Roadmap: https://trello.com/b/RbsKPeGw/vertcoin-roadmap Join our Discord: https://discord.gg/vertcoin Official Website: https://vertcoin.org/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/vertcoin Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/vertcoin/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/vertcoin-talk

06:12
This short video shows how to compile the bitcoin source code on linux (ubunu). an easy task to do but it take some time (around 15 min) please read the instruction in the official github https://github.com/bellaj/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md in the video i am compiling the version 0.13 Note: you could choose which version to use by typing "get tag" to show you all the released versions of bitcoin then "git checkout v0.**" if you need the version 0.**. If you choose an old version please read the documentation (doc/build-unix.md )in order to install to suit dependencies. when the process finish you get your bitcoind (server) and bitcoin-qt (client). Note : If these prerequisites are missing, the build process will fail.If this happens because you missed a prerequisite, you can install it and then resume the build process. to customize the build process. Type ./configure --help to see the various options: $ ./configure --help `configure' configures Bitcoin Core 0.** to adapt to many kinds of systems. Usage: ./configure [OPTION]... [VAR=VALUE]...

Note: Commits before the adoption of BitKeeper are (incorrectly) attributed to Linus Torvalds due to the lack of attribution information. Also called the Ripple Transaction Protocol (RTXP) or Ripple protocol,[3] it is built upon a distributed open source Internet protocol, consensus ledger and native cryptocurrency called XRP (ripples). Released in 2012, Ripple purports to enable "secure, instantly and nearly free global financial transactions of any size with no chargebacks." It supports tokens representing fiat currency, cryptocurrency, commodity or any other unit of value such as frequent flier miles or mobile minutes.[4][5] At its core, Ripple is based around a shared, public database or ledger,[6] which uses a consensus process that allows for payments, exchanges and remittance in a distributed process.[7] Ripple Original author(s) Arthur Britto, David Schwartz, Ryan Fugger Developer(s) Ripple Initial release 2012 Stable release 0.80.2[1] / 2017[1] Repository github.com/ripple/rippled Development status Active Written in C++ Operating system Server: GNU/Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), Windows, OS X (development only) Type Real-time gross settlement, currency exchange, remittance License ISC license[2] Website Ripple.com The network can operate without the Ripple company.[8] Among validators are companies, internet service providers, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[9][10] Used by companies such as UniCredit, UBS and Santander, Ripple has been increasingly adopted by banks and payment networks as settlement infrastructure technology,[11] with American Banker explaining that "from banks' perspective, distributed ledgers like the Ripple system have a number of advantages over cryptocurrencies like bitcoin," including price and security.[12] On 30 Dec 2017, the market capitalization of XRP was $110 billion, putting it second in Cryptocurrency Market Cap Ranking. Peppermint for Noobs: How to get programs

15:26
Hey guys how y’all doing. Peppermint or Ubuntu makes installing programs easy to download and install for new users. How to install .debs: First of all what is .debs? Debs is an installer which only Debian and Ubuntu distros can read and it makes it easier to install without using the terminal and simler like Windows on .exe or .msi. To download and install .debs go to a website where it gots a .deb downloaders, click on either 32-bit or 64-bit (depending what Peppermint OS you install), wait till the download is complete, when complete fid where you save your downloads (if it never asked you where you want to download, it’ll be in your Downloads folder), click on the .deb file (the-name-of-the-file.deb), and click install. How to download using the Terminal: What does “sudo apt-get install’ means, here is a picture that I’m going to provide so you can look at it: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sdXgwIB8COY/T9dqPanoe6I/AAAAAAAAAsc/xmj4anZZY00/w1200-h630-p-nu/sudo+apt+get+command+diagram.png How to use it? Go to the website that gives the command to install it. Some website will have “sudo add-apt-repository” what that does, it’ll add the package to the repository where can be always be up-to-date from their servers, next you’ll have “sudo apt-get update” that will make sure your repository are up-to-date, then you’ll have “sudo apt-get install the-program-name”, and sometimes you have to add the lib32 in you’re using a 64-bit version of Peppermint OS it depends what program it is. Hope y’all enjoy this video and I’ll see you on the next one. God Bless you and Goodbye! :)

03:39
do you lost your password to your ethereum wallet ? or dont you remember specific word order ? today i am gonna show you how to recovery your lost password for ethereum wallet if you remember some phrases or pure bruteforce technique. every print and option is made in czech language, maybe in future i will translate it to english. for now i can translate every print inside this tutorial. ************************************************************ !A. you need your json/keystore wallet file .. if you dont have it = your wallet is lost forever. the file can be obtained by MIST ethereum wallet !B. Linux / Windows 10 Anniversary Update or newer and Windows Subsystem for Linux enabled, then type "bash" inside cmd.exe how to: 1. on windows run cmd.exe and enter bash (if its first run then hit "y" and wait until installed and setup your user and password.), on linux skip this 2. install dependencies and clone git repository sudo apt-get install git python-pip python-dev libssl-dev \ build-essential automake pkg-config libtool libffi-dev libgmp-dev sudo pip install pbkdf2 rlp ethereum joblib git clone https://github.com/seevik2580/ethereum-wallet-recovery.git 3. cd inside downloaded folder, and there are two major scripts ... python generuj.py # wordlist generator -h # help -s any, words # comma separated words -v file # words from file separated by comma -a # generate from ascii table -min number # specify minimal generated word lenght -max number # specify maximal generated word lenght python louskac.py # eth wallet password tester -h # help -p file # json/keystore ethereum wallet file -z file # starting words separated by line -k file # ending words separated by line -v N # number of threads of jobs -w file # wordlist file -b arg # bruteforce type ASCII # whole ascii table or whatever char by char eg. 1234567890 or @#!$%^&*( -d N # bruteforce character leght ************************************************************ examples bruteforce: so i didnt remember any words in my password, but i can remember its made from @ then 1-4 numbers and again @ at the end so create file start.txt and type @ inside, save it then create file end.txt and type @ inside, save it lets brute this combinations python louskac.py -p UTC--2017-07-12T00-06-42.772050600Z--f5751c906091b98be2a6be5ce42c573d704aedab -z start.txt -b 1234567890 -d 4 -k end.txt prepare yourself to it could take even days or months to test all combinations. ************************************************************ examples wordlist: so i remember my password is 40 character lenght and made from words: "the,Answer,To,Universe,Life,And,Everything,Is,42" but its not the right combination.. so lets generate some combinations from those words and skip passwords less than 40 characters. python generuj.py -min 40 -s "the,Answer,To,Universe,Life,And,Everything,Is,42" this will generate about 300k combinations, so it take some time. all combinations will be saved in file wordlist_01.txt [if file will be larger than 50mb then it will split to more wordlist files.] then we can test our json/keystore wallet file if any combinations match to my password python louskac.py -p UTC--2017-07-12T00-06-42.772050600Z--f5751c906091b98be2a6be5ce42c573d704aedab -w wordlist_01.txt ************************************************************ if password is found, it will be printed to console and also writen inside nalezeneheslo.txt more examples is at my github https://github.com/seevik2580/ethereum-wallet-recovery Created by Seva ************************************************************ donate ETH 0x9ead6a02058d461d8f7d09403c22cc278148ddfc ZEC t1bVtZEM8rF5N9JY2fHNULQaaJU9LHwTCB5 BTC 3BWxLUPQCWFdwKmVZYk88zX2hajdP5ZXxF paypal https://www.paypal.me/seevik become my patron @ https://www.patreon.com/seevik ************************************************************
