Primitive Technology: Forge Blower

04:32
I invented the Bow Blower, a combination of the bow drill and forge blower to make a device that can force air into a fire while being easy to construct from commonly occurring natural materials using only primitive technology. I began by fanning a fire with a piece of bark to increase its temperature. It is this basic principle I improved on throughout the project. Next, I made a rotary fan from two pieces of bark that slot together at right angles to each other to form a simple 4 bladed paddle wheel about 20 cm in diameter and 5 cm tall. The blades of the fan were not angled and were designed only to throw air outwards away from the axle when spun. The rotor of the fan was made by splitting a stick two ways so it formed 4 prongs. The fan was then inserted into the prongs and the end lashed to hold it in place. Spinning the fan rotor back and forth between the palms of the hands fanned the fire. But only some of the wind generated by the fan reached the fire. The rest of it was blowing in other directions, effectively being wasted. So I built a fan housing from unfired clay to direct the air flow into the fire. This was basically an upturned pot with a hole in the top, a spout coming out of the side. The housing was about 25 cm wide and 8 cm tall. The hole in the top and the spout were both about 6 cm in diameter so that the air coming in roughly equalled the air coming out. The base of the fan rotor sat in a wooden socket placed in the ground to make it spin easier and the top of the rotor protruded from the hole in the top of the housing. Now when the fan spun, air entered the hole in the top of the housing and exited the spout in the side. Importantly, it doesn’t matter which way the fan spins, air always goes into the inlet and out the spout. Air is thrown out towards the walls of the housing and can only leave through the spout while the vacuum in the centre sucks new air into the housing through the inlet. A separate clay pipe called a tuyere was made to fit over the spout to direct air into the coals. This was done because the pipe that touches the fire can melt away so it’s better to make this part replaceable. Instead of making a large wheel and belt assembly to step up the speed of rotation, I opted for a 75 cm long bow. I made a frame to hold the rotor in place consisting of two stakes hammered into the ground with a socketed cross bar lashed on to hold the top of the rotor. I made bark fibre cordage and tied the end to a stick. I then looped the cord around the rotor and held the other end in the same hand holding the stick. I then pushed and pulled the bow causing the rotor to spin rapidly, forcing air into the fire. I made a simple mud furnace for the blower. Then I collected orange iron bacteria from the creek (iron oxide), mixed it with charcoal powder (carbon to reduce oxide to metal) and wood ash (flux to lower the melting point) and formed it into a cylindrical brick. I filled the furnace with charcoal, put the ore brick in and commenced firing. The ore brick melted and produced slag with tiny, 1mm sized specs of iron through it. My intent was not so much to make iron but to show that the furnace can reach a fairly high temperature using this blower. A taller furnace called a bloomery was generally used in ancient times to produce usable quantities of iron and consumed more charcoal, ore and labour. This device produces a blast of air with each stroke of the bow regardless of whether it is pushed or pulled. The bow makes it possible to operate the blower without using a complicated belt and wheel assembly used in traditional forge blowers. There is a brief pause at the end of each stroke where the fan stops to rotate in the other direction, but this is effectively no different to the intermittent blast of a double acting bellows of Europe or box bellows of Asia. The materials used (wood, bark, bark fibre and clay) are readily available on most continents. No leather, valves or precisely fitted piston gaskets are required as with other types of bellows. The cords for this device wear out often so a number of back up cords should be kept handy for quick replacement. In summary, this is an easy to make device that solves the problem of supplying forced combustion air required for high temperature furnaces and forges. Making copper the ancient way

06:06
This summer we made several experiments reducing malachite (copper carbonate) to genuine copper with blowpipes in open fire pits. Now we know that it is possible to make metallic copper only using lung power and Copper Age equipment. This video was meant as documentation of an archaeological experiment. Thanks to all visitors who added relevant comments by now! But: As more and more stupids felt called to misuse the comment function as a trash dump of their verbal diarrhea, today I decided to switch it of, sorry, folks! My life´s too short for this.

Ancient gold smelting rare today. extract recovery process of refining gold to remove any impurities

10:32
►► http://www.goldextractionprocess.com Smelting of rare antique gold. The process of refining gold to remove any impurities that may be found intermixed with the noble metal is an ancient practice that has long been employed by diverse cultures. One of the earliest gold refining equipments employed by ancient metallurgists was the blast furnace – by then a rudimentary structure built with clay, stone, or roughly hewn rocks which were fed with wood or an assortment of biofuels derived from the dried fecal matter of animals. The blast furnace was used in tandem with the crucible, one of the oldest and perhaps still widely used metallurgical instruments to this day. With the methods of gold refining being perfected through the decades, even rustic objects such as clay pots and later on, cast iron equipment were employed in the quest for purer and finer examples of gold. Appalachian Trail Loner #85 MACHINERY & MINING MUSEUM 2012 Thru-Hike

04:54
The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association (CAMA) is located north, about a mile away from the center of Kent. Just be careful as it’s a busy road with narrow shoulders. When you see Ole Train Engine #4 from the road, you’re at the right place. *Click 'SHOW MORE' below for more notes about this video... (0:06) The centerpiece of the collection is Hawaii Railway #5, a 1925 Baldwin steam locomotive that had been lovingly restored to original specs and looked like brand new. Its coal engine was very impressive with brass gauges. It even had its own garage stall to protect it when not on display. (0:18) This vintage passenger car was awaiting restoration, and with its woods sides and shutters, looked like something out of the old west. This project obviously needed a lot of work. (0:31) Another garage housed an interesting 1919 Dodge automobile with big headlights up front. It was painted black with wood doors and bodywork. There were even more rusty projects outside awaiting their turn. (0:39) I loved this old school, heavy duty tow truck with Dodge and Jeep logos. Diebold Hall was full of heavy equipment and there were rows of tractors of different makes and models: John Deere, Caterpillar, International, and others. Some were unrestored originals just like they just rolled off a field. Others looked to have been brought back to mint condition. (1:17) A collection of at least a dozen huge steam powered trucks, rollers, and tractors was very impressive. One had a cool bulldog logo on the front. A comment below read: “Most of these were scrapped off the old farms between WW1 & 2, and are very rare to find!” (1:53) Another interesting item was a green and yellow John Deere tandem bicycle that was stowed in the building’s rafters. (1:57) The Hubbard Steamcycle. My very favorite piece here. It looked like a dirt bike with an aluminum frame, a big red seat, a pair of copper cylinders where the gas take should have been, and crazy brass tubes going every which way. This thing was cool! (http://ctamachinery.com/photo-essays-... -steamcycle-restorat.html). (2:01) A mining museum is also on the property. Outside, there was an example of different kinds of ore mined locally and some vintage trains and coal cars used to transport it. A mini red box car was marked “EXPLOSIVES.” I was amazed at how small they were, only about the size of a grocery shopping cart and just wide enough for the old, narrow gauge train track beds that we hike on a lot. (2:45) There were several impressive, three-dimensional scale dioramas, one featuring the Mine Hill (Kent) iron furnace operation that was right outside. Once upon a time, every bit of the surrounding wooded area was clear cut of trees to make the massive amounts of charcoal necessary for smelting iron ore. Today, only one furnace remains. It was very handsome in design, but slowly crumbling down due to age. (2:50) Of course I was drawn to the display about Native Americans and their mining of local materials to make arrowheads, tools, stone axes, and soapstone bowls. (3:15) Another section was dedicated to gold mining. This was fascinating as I’ve met several hikers who pan for gold in the creeks along the AT. (3:30) Then there was a walk-in, life size replica of a mine shaft with wax statues dressed in the primitive safety gear of the time. This mock-up gave you a real idea of the cramped, dimly lit space they had to work in. There was even a blasting rig to play with, right out of a Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote cartoon! Yet another room had fluorescent lighting to show how some rocks and minerals glow neon green, blue and red colors. Trippy. (3:49) The old furnace was falling down, but still impressive. (3:52) Jim, my host, was very knowledgeable and enjoyed showing visitors around and answering questions. He even fired up a small green locomotive for a short train ride down the tracks that run the length of the property. This little locomotive was about the size of a minivan and chain-powered by a loud Plymouth engine. The entire museum here was very detailed and I learned a lot. It was a fun experience that I would recommend to anyone. Walking around inside and studying the various exhibits. It also helped me understand more about, and feel closer to, the many abandoned mining villages and communities I’ve seen along the AT. The CAMA website has more information: (http://ctamachinery.com). Jim asked about my backpack and after talking for a while about the trail, I was able to yogi a choice camping spot on their property down by the river where I hung my hammock between two trees directly above a steep river bank. I even waded around in the water and looked around on the gravel bars for arrowheads, but had no luck. However I did find some colorful blue slag from the nearby furnace, a byproduct of the iron smelting that took place here many years ago. On the AT, you never know where you might sleep each night. .

Primitive Technology: Cord drill and Pump drill

08:24
I made a cord drill and then upgraded it to a pump drill. A cord drill is basically a spindle with a fly wheel attached so it looks like a spinning top. the middle of a piece of cord is then put into a notch at the top of the spindle. The ends of the cord are then wrapped around the spindle and then pulled quickly outwards causing the drill to spin. The momentum of the fly wheel causes the cord to wrap back around the spindle in the other direction. When it stops the cords are pulled outwards again and the drill spins in the other direction. I made the first one with a stone flywheel then made fire with it in the same way I make fire with fire sticks. Then I made and fired some clay fly wheels, made another drill with one of the fly wheels and fitted a stone drill bit to the end. This one I use for drilling holes in wood. I used the new drill to make a hole in a piece of wood. I then put the spindle of the original cord drill through the hole in the wood, tied the ends of the cord onto the piece of wood and it became a pump drill. The cords were wrapped round the spindle as normal but now a pumping action of the wooden cross bar created the same action. This was an interesting project. For fire making I'd stick to fire sticks because the equipment is easier to make. But for people with soft hands they could use the cord drill as it won't give them blisters. It should be added that the pump drill actually took longer than the cord drill (cord: 32 seconds, pump 1 min 30 seconds -the pump drill scene was edited down to make it watchable). The pump drill had more moving parts and was constantly having problems. As a fire making method I'd choose the cord drill over the pump drill unless all the parts were well made. The main purpose I'd use these tool for is drilling holes rather than fire making. It was reasonably good but the stone bits I made could be improved and their attachment to the shaft also needs some thought. If the bit loosens and gets off axis slightly the whole thing wobbles. These drills are impressive inventions and show potential for carpentry use later on. Replacing a Window Screen 5-Steps

04:10
Replacing a window screen is an easy project and should take a novice 1 hour or less for the first window and even less as you move on to other screens. Tools Needed Utility knife Flat headed screwdriver Scissors Spline rolling tool Screen spline Screen Replacing a Window Screen Screen Type When replacing a window screen is one thing but which type of screening should you use? I typically use what ever was in the broken screen so all the windows match. This is not always the case an I have swapped out materials, especially for screen doors, more on that below. There are there basic types of screens: Fiberglass Aluminum / Bronze Pet or Shade Screen Fiberglass screening is the most common. It is flexible and easy to install, in fact if you make a mistake during the install you can remove the spline and start over as the fiberglass screening material does not have a crimp fold memory. Tip: when installing fiberglass screening ensure that you keep the screen taunt and wrinkle free. Ive accomplished this by using clamps, a helper or adding weight to hold the excess screening hanging off the far end - tight! don't install the fiberglass too tight or you can warp the screen. Aluminum screening is stronger, ore durable and my preference for screen porches. Unlike fiberglass screen, does dent and has a memory once dented, dinged or crimped. This means yo have one-shot of installing it, if you screw up , you'll need to start with fresh material. Pet or Sun Screening has a thicker grid which restricts light, and like fiberglass is flexible to work with. This is helpful with keeping the sun out and helps reduce fabric and carpet fading. It is also a stronger material than fiberglass and aluminum screening, which makes it a fantastic screen of use in screen doors and in places often damaged by pets. Replacing a Window Screen Replacing a Screen Steps Step 1: Remove the screen from the window frame and place it on a flat surface. Use a flat head screw driver to pry loose the rubber spline [roping] in the window screen frame. Pull this spline out of all four sides /grooves, that line the perimeter of the screen frame. Discard the damaged screen and evaluate if you can reuse the spline. Dry battle spline should be replaced. Tip: Use a pair of clamps or tape the hold the screen frame flat and secure while working. Step 2: Align your new screen over the frame opening. You can either use scissors to cut your screening material s so the it overlaps 1" on either side, or simply leave it long and overlap all sides, trimming later. Step 3: With the convex roller [pointy] of your spline roller, start in one corner of the screen frame and roll the screen into the grove of the frame. Go easy and do one side only then move to the next step. Replacing a Window Screen Step 4: Insert and roll spline into the grooved screen and screen frame. Depending on the screen frame you may need to cut the spline into four sections for it to fit lengthwise in the grooves. Once the spline is installed, repeat Step 3 and 4 on adjoining screen frame groove. Work in this fashion until all four sides are installed. Remember to hold the screen under pressure to keep the material taut, and prevent wrinkles or folds. Step 5: With a flat tip screwdriver, gently push the spline down, into the grooves in all four corners. Using a sharp utility knife, trim the excess screen by cutting alone the spline. Hold the screen taut as you cut with the knife. Replacing a Window Screen Cost If a Pro was going to do this project for you they would charge approximately $75.00 per window in labor and approximately $15.00 in materials. Once you purchase the spline roller you can plan on doing these repairs yourself for $10.00 per window screen. You can do this project yourself and save some money!

Buy Farming Simulator 17 - https://www.amazon.com/shop/aicave Farmall was a model name and later a brand name for tractors manufactured by the American company International Harvester (IH). The Farmall name was usually presented as McCormick-Deering Farmall and later McCormick Farmall in the evolving brand architecture of IH. Farmalls were general-purpose tractors. Their origins were as row-crop tractors, a category that they helped establish and in which they long held a large market share. During the decades of Farmall production (the 1920s to 1970s), most Farmalls were built for row-crop work, but many orchard, fairway, and other variants were also built. Most Farmalls were all-purpose tractors that were affordable for small to medium-sized family farms and could do enough of the tasks needed on the farm that the need for hired hands was reduced and the need for horses or mules was eliminated. Thus Farmall was a prominent brand in the 20th-century trend toward the mechanization of agriculture in the US. Watch the full episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfu0X8t5H58 Roger Cook demonstrates how to cut and shape stones for hardscaping projects. (See below for a shopping list, tools, and steps.) Click here to SUBSCRIBE to the official This Old House YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=thisoldhouse Shopping List for How to Cut and Shape Stones: - Stone of various sizes and shapes Tools List for How to Cut and Shape Stones: - Gas-powered cut-off saw with diamond blade, for sawing stone Right-angle grinder with diamond blade, used to cut stone - Rotary-hammer drill with masonry bit, for boring holes into stone - Small sledgehammer, used to strike hand tools - Wedges and feathers, for splitting stone - Hand tracer, for splitting stone - Stone buster, used to crack larger stones - Handset, for trimming edges of stones - Hand point, used to chip off high spots - Bushing hammer, for finishing surface of just-cut stones Steps for How to Cut and Shape Stones: 1. Use a gas-powered cut-off saw or angle grinder to cut stone. 2. To hand-split a stone, begin by using an electric rotary hammer and masonry bit to drill holes spaced 4 inches apart across the stone face. 3. Insert a steel wedge and pair of steel feathers (shims) into each hole. 4. Use a hammer to alternately tap each wedge into the hole. 5. Continue to lightly tap each wedge until the stone cracks in two. 6. To split a stone with a hand tracer, set the tracer on top of the stone and tap it with the hammer. Move the tracer down an inch or so and strike it again. 7. Continue in this fashion until you’ve a cut line across the stone. 8. Move the hand tracer back to the beginning and repeat, tap it, move it, tap it, move it, until the stone splits in two. 9. To crack large stones, use a stonebuster tool. Set the buster on top of the stone, then strike it sharply with a hammer to cut a line across the stone. Repeat until the stone splits. 10. To trim the edge of a stone, use a carbide handset. Hold the handset at an angle to the stone, then strike the handset with a hammer to chip off small pieces of stone. 11. Use a carbide-tipped hand point to chip protrusions and high spots off of a stone face. 12. To smooth and even out the surface of a stone, lightly tap it with a bushing hammer. 13. Continue to tap the stone until achieving the desired level of smoothness. Sharpening Steel with a Forge and Anvil

09:58
Learning how to sharpen steel picks with a forge, anvil and some old time blacksmithing wisdom. Today my wife's grandfather, Papa Lynn, shows me the ins and outs of this old time method of sharpening and tempering heavy steel hand tools like picks, digger bars, etc,. For those that don't know, my wife's family originally homesteaded in this area over 100 years ago and still remain. They lived off the land, mined, farmed, ran cattle and a host of other things to make ends meet over the years. They are a wonderful family and have a rich history in the area. I'm very blessed to have married into this wonderful bunch of folks! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching! Mystic Hot Springs The water comes out of the ground at 168 degrees Fahrenheit (75 degrees C.) and at 200 gallons/minute. As the water flows, the minerals cool and form layers of rock. This spring has been flowing out continuously for millions of years.Over time, the mineral buildup has created a mound that is a mile accross, 200 ft deep, 200 yards wide. As the water travels through a channel, it cools down, and it is then contained in 8 bathtubs and 2 concrete pools. The pools and tubs are kept between 98 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit so you are bound to find something you like. The temperatures can always be adjusted as necessary. The bathtubs are cleaned every morning. The pools are cleaned once or twice a week. The water contains lots of calcium, magnesium, and iron, which makes it best for soaking. We don't recommend it for drinking, however, if you would like to drink it, we advise you to acquire it from the source in a glass container and drink 1 oz per day at the most. Tubs 7 and 8 are usually the hottest. Five minutes in these tubs can do wonders on aching muscles. 2. Stewart Falls Stewart Falls is one of the most scenic and photogenic waterfalls in northern Utah. It falls in two tiers and is over 200 feet tall. It is a moderate hike through a beautiful forest on the east side of Mt Timpanogos. The trail is well-marked and easy to follow. The descent from the ridge down to the base of the falls is quite steep (youngsters should be held in check at that point) but this is a great family hike. Summer is a good time to make the trek, and fall is even better because colored leaves are magnificent. 3. MBMMLLC.com: Scrapping door knobs for clean brass metal

05:04
This video was requested by Northern Virginia Refuse. These are door knobs that have been run through the hammer mill to clean up all the brass off the steel and pot metal. The hammer mill did a great job and I was surprised by all the clean brass that we recovered. Thanks for the suggestion and if any other viewers would like to see something run through the hammer mill please let me know and I will make a video and post it so we can see what happened. Without Minnesota iron mining, there wouldn't be appliances like washing machines. Instead, we'd be stuck relying on a wooden washboard and bucket. #imagineLiFewithoutiron.

RESTARTING...Twice...| My Little Blacksmith Shop Gameplay Part 2

15:40
We're restarting as I messed everything up last video in my little blacksmith shop gameplay part 2. We've figured out how to make more weapons, but the customers in my little blacksmith shop want more, and I can't give them more! This is my little blacksmith shop gameplay, and I will make these customers PROUD to come to my shop! My little blacksmith shop appears to be a simple shop simulator where you have a little blacksmith shop, make weapons for customers and make some money, but there's a lot more to it! You can explore mines and collect Ore, as well as visit different shops to buy handles for your weapons! Needless to say, I suck at this game completely, and will never know what on earth is going on. I saw my little blacksmith shop jacksepticeye for the first time a few months ago and was really interested to see how far it had come from then, it's come pretty far guys!

How to Repair a Cracked Engine Block

03:02
A cracked engine block in a vehicle is not uncommon and certainly does not mean the end of the engines lifespan. There are various methods of repairing cracked engine blocks: from welding and brazing, to cold metal stitching. In this short video, you will learn how to repair a cracked engine block using Belzona in less than an hour. http://www.belzona.com/engines Cracked engine blocks can lead to problems such as leaking cooling water so for that reason they need to be repaired. Belzona offers a solution that does not require hot work or specialist tools and is proven to provide a long-lasting alternative to costly replacement. Materials Used: To repair this cracked engine block, we used Belzona 1111 (Super Metal), Belzona 9111 (Cleaner/Degreaser), Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape) along with a few tools from our machine shop. For more information, please visit http://www.belzona.com/1111. Read more about this repair on our Blog: https://blog.belzona.com/how-to-repair-a-cracked-engine-block/ How-To Guide: Step 1: Before starting work on the repair, make sure the damaged area is thoroughly cleaned and free of grease, oil and dirt. We recommend the use of Belzona 9111 and a stiff bristle brush to remove all the surface contaminants. Step 2: Terminate all cracks by drilling holes along the length of the cracks and at both ends. This helps to prevent crack propagation. Step 3: Insert studs into holes and using a grinder, cut all the studs flush with the casing. Step 4: ‘Vee’ out all the cracks with a hand-held machine fitted with a cutting disc and roughen the entire repair area to ensure excellent adhesion of the Belzona repair material. Step 5: Once again, clean and degrease the repair area and apply masking tape to the area to be repaired. Step 6: Measure and cut a piece of Belzona 9341 to the size of the masked off repair area. Step 7: Mix the appropriate amount of Belzona 1111 making sure to achieve a uniform material (Learn more about mixing and applying Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) here http://belzona.com/ViewFile.aspx?id=51037) Step 8: Apply a thin layer of Belzona 1111 to the prepared surfaces pressing firmly with a stiff bristled brush to ensure full contact with the surface. Step 9: Wet out the Belzona 9341 with the mixed Belzona material and bed it down over the crack into the layer of Belzona already applied using an applicator. Step 10: Apply another layer of Belzona material to create a buildup of approximately 1/8th inch (3mm) over the entire area. Step 11: Remove the masking tape and leave the repair to cure. After the product is fully cured, the engine is ready to be put back to service! SevTech Ages #7 - Finding Ores / Prospecting in Age 1

12:56
Finding ores is very different, here's how it works! You can support me and the channel! Read more here: https://www.patreon.com/tkh Even though I don't have an explanation at the moment for the failed first finding I did found the cluster (vein) on the second try, and later on some more. Off-cam I will search around to find Copper and Coal as well! The manual states that a chunk containing small samples on the surface contains the cluster as well, but perhaps it's a config thing...? Even more important to craft (and use) the Weak Dowsing Rod then. But finding ores is actually the small part in this epise, it was perhaps more fun to start with some basic automation and tidy up the base :) Sooo nice to have a proper bed! This will make sure the portable one will last much longer. How and where to find gold, how and where to find gold, how and where to find gold, how and where to find gold in the Georgia mountains gold-finding-gold Gold and platinum are 15-19 times heavier than other streambed materials and concentrate in low pressure areas and cracks that run across rivers and streams. You look for a crack on the bank, and follow it out until you meet the "gold line" and there you suck it out with your dredge. Gold will be on the outside edge of a river gravel bar, at the head of the bar (large gold but usually beneath big boulders), and at the tail end of a bar (vast concentrations due to river bars forming in the shape of an airfoil and sucking fine gold to the tail end) but be small to microscopic at the tail end. Gold will travel down a river or stream in a line, usually off center of the high pressure water. Gold will settle behind a boulder. A good place to fish, can also be an excellent place to find gold. "Black sand" is iron ore that can be readilly identified in gravel bars and is a ready indicator that gold is probably present. The most effective and economical way for the average person to find paying concentrations of gold in a river or stream is with a simple ($80) sluice that you shovel into and the riffles retain gold, platinum, gems and anything heavy for you. Gold can be found up high on the old river channels and recovered with metal detectors, a gold wheel, a highbanker, or simply by identifying the material, shoveling it in your truck and working it out later in a wheel, or your simple stream sluice. The states which have gold in vast quantities are: Maine, Vermont, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, California, Idaho, Washington, Montana, and Oregon. The rest have gold as well, some in very good concentrations. All have gems of some kind that a sluice will seperate and hold. Good luck finding the gold of your dreams! Trailer - My Plea to Dan, the Landowner of the Aboriginal Sacred Site Meteorite Island - Dumbleyung

14:40
If you are in Dumbleyung and if you know Dan, please forward this video message to him for me .... So this is only a trailer / preview, I am currently working on a video message to Dan, it will be at least one hour long, and it will be a beautiful video to Dan and his family own Meteorite Island and are currently seeking a Sand Mining permit to mine this Yellow sand to sell for the manufacture of houses, bricks, road resurfacing, house lawn and garden coverings and much more. When this happens all that exists on this untouched oasis this paradise will be basically Destroyed, Killed and ancient Aboriginal Relics, Stone tools, Grinding Stones, Flints, Chips, Flakes, possible aboriginal remains, Australites, Tektites, Flora and Fauna and are going to be destroyed, at risk flora and fauna killed and completely wiped out from this extremely environmentally sensitive area in Dumbleyung Western Australia... Meteorite Island is a true showcase of the beautiful environment and aboriginal history of Dumbleyung Western Australia. The tourism potential for Meteorite Island is worth many millions of dollars, not the million or two million dollars Dan might make from mining the sand... it could be a true showcase of our town like that of Wave Rock in Hyden and of course Lake Dumbleyung. The full video will explain to Dan exactly how he could use this Island as a tourism showcase for Dumbleyung and so much more. It could and would create many many new jobs for our struggling town, our farmers, Dan's family. It could also save our little Dumbleyung School from closing and will bring many new residents to our struggling country town. Such examples as follows on the possible uses for Meteorite Island and the surrounding salt plains and river system: * A Private Romantic Weekend Retreat for Couples * Star Gazing and Planet Watching Groups * Tektite and Australite Hunting on the Salt Plains * Landscape, Wildlife, Insect, Flora and Fauna Photography * Weddings and Weekend Honeymoon Getaways and Wedding Photography * A perfect spot for a Film Set and TV Mini Series Location (Complete Isolation & Outback Desert type scenery) * Camping Trips for Families and Organisations, including School Camps) * Scout and Girl Guide Camping and Education * 4x4, Dune Buggy & Motorbike trails on the Salt Plains (well away from the island) * Music and Opera events * BNS Balls (Bachelor & Spintster Balls) (Australian Tradition) * Camel, Horse and Donkey rides and expeditions on the salt plains * Varieties of different festivals * Bush Tucker Education * Aboriginal Traditional Education and History Courses, Bush Tucker, and tours * A beautiful place for people such as War Veterans, Women and Men who are victims of Domestic Violence, Struggling Children in need of love and care and life education * A beautiful getaway for people undergoing detox and drug and alcohol rehabilitation * Hot Air Balloon tours * Airplane and Glider tours * Maybe even Helicoptor tours. *Wildlife Conservation * Lost Flora and Fauna Species reintroduction i.e. (Kangaroo Mice etc) * Complete Flora and Fauna Surveys to be carried out * Salinity eradication * Native Tree and Native Plant Species planting * Private Chalets Like on the Nenkes farm in Kukerin * Private luxurious tents * A Beautiful Boardwalk surrounding the whole island where tourists can view the ancient aboriginal relics and stones tools as if they have been sitting thereuntouched for thousands of years. * Wildlife Rehab and Rescues etc etc etc Think about it mate! Many more ideas in the full video! And Dan ... I am willing to donate every single one of my 10,000 plus metal detecting finds, 3000 plus antique bottles, all of my old road signs, wagon wheels, iron relics, pioneer relics for people to search and metal detect for on the salt plains on big treasure hunting weekends. I have 6000 subscribers and many of those kind people will send me beautiful foreign coins, silver coins, gold rings, silver rings, valuable relics etc and maybe even Gold Sovereigns which will be buried and hidden on the salt plains for "PAID" treasure hunters, kids and families to find... and a thousand more things mate. I will go out of my way to help you mate for free! And many others will do also! I respect you Dan, as I do all Dumbleyung farmers, please understand that, and I will spend my life documenting this beautiful paradise if it is destroyed. ... don't be afraid to come and see me mate! lets talk about it and the possibilities. Guys ... sorry about the Train Crossing Ending ... see full video of it here 1.30 long: What Would Have Happened If this Semi Truck Crossed This Deadly Train Crossing 60 Seconds Sooner? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14jn4ENLFfM Help me Save Meteorite Island - The Ancient Sacred Aboriginal Site Being Destroyed & Mined in the Shire of Dumbleyung - Western Australia - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhyT97-KaZ_0hXKerqKmZ81xehfctblst
